Receive the Three Crowns

What if you knew your day to be crowned King/Queen of the Kingdom in which you were born into was coming and that there was a prophecy on record that the High King and High Queen would come to help you fulfill that potential?

Prince Caspian, from the Chronicles of Narnia, knew the royal life he was born into and looked forward to living his purpose of serving all of Narnia. His wise tutor had guided and mentored him in the law to teach him of things under the earth and above the earth and of historical patterns which had been and that which would come to pass. This training had armed him with a deep sense of his purpose and mission for the times ahead, but unbeknownst to him, his Uncle had long been conspiring to usurp his authority over the kingdom. Caspian, in order to survive, was compelled to live his life in hiding. Because of this, he lacked the ability to receive the power to act in authority to save his people from their enemies as well as serve his Kingdom to the fullest extent possible. When the High Kings and Queens of Narnia came to help, they offered him direction, authority and power to claim his rightful role in leading his Kingdom.

In a similar way, Prince Caspian's story is also our story. We too were destined to be Vassal Kings and Queens of the Kingdom, within a treaty under our High King like Kings Peter and Edmond and High Queens Susan and Lucy, yet we find ourselves in circumstances unfamiliar to our true nature, inheritance and leadership role, feeling much like Prince Caspian in exile. We may not realize that we too, have been tutored in God’s Laws and higher purposes, and someday can be crowned as King or Queen of a Kingdom with the authority and Divine power sanctioned by the High King and Queen.

Since the days of Adam, through the generations, human nature tendencies and our adversary’s usurpation caused God’s people to lose sight of how to receive and serve in their rightful roles as Kings and Queens. They lost the authority for serving their tribes through the Priesthood lineage and most no longer knew how to receive those blessings. In our time, The High King still offers us the ability to receive these essential blessings which can be summed up in the phrase Three Crowns. Understanding what these Three Crowns are is the beginning of learning how we might come to receive them.

The Three Crowns are:
  1. to learn and live his law as He intended to bless our life (Sinaitic Covenant)
  2. to be crowned by God as one of his Vassal Kings & Queens in His Kingdom (Davidic Covenant)
  3. to utilize His power to act in behalf of serving his children in the Kingdom (Abrahamic Covenant)
Rabbi Munk, a modern Jewish scholar, has described these Three Crowns as the crown of the “Law”, the crown of the “Kingship”, and the crown of the “Priesthood.” He goes on to say that it was God’s original intention that the entire Nation should wear all three crowns. From Adam to Abraham to Jacob/Israel, each family lived and understood their role of receiving and living these Three Crowns. In the shadow of Mount Sinai, after the they had been delivered from Egyptian slavery, the people of Isael were given the wonderful opportunity to renew these Three Crowns. While Moses was with the Lord on the mountain, he came to personally know the Sovereign King of the land, the Lord our God and Creator, and followed His directive to bring down laws and directions which would eventually lead the Israelite people up the mountain to Him–to receive all Three Crowns. The Lord declared in regards to the Children of Israel, “If ye will obey my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all the people, for all the earth is mine. And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”

Because of their choice to worship the Golden Calf instead of trusting in the Sovereign King of the Earth, they lost their ability to receive two of the “Crowns” –as husband and wife, the roles of Queenship/Kingship, and Priesthood, they had traditionally held before. Moses, in response, went up the mountain and brought them a new contract with God–The Crown of the Law, renewing the basics of God’s laws (directions) which served as a general or universal entrance way for those people who were not ready to live/receive the High King's higher blessings. (Deuteronomy 6; Luke 10:27 Parable of the Good Samaritan)

In the Book of Exodus, we are taught about this contract and principle of receiving the first Crown of the Law. Those who received this Law, or “Crown”, could continue to gain the ability to receive those other two “Crowns” to become a “kingdom of Priests and a holy Nation.” At this time the responsibility to lead the Kingdom was given to the line of David, and the right to officiate in the ordinances of communicating with Heaven on behalf of the entire family was given to Aaron and his Levite lineage.

Receiving all Three Crowns is still our ultimate inheritance. Our Sovereign and High King over the land has made himself known unto all His children throughout all of earth’s history and his intention has been to help us not only receive this first Crown of the Law, but to also receive the Crown of Kingship and the Crown of Priesthood. We may have been banished or exiled, left broken and trodden down, led astray or held captive, but the directions and help have been given to enable us to again receive all Three Crowns through entering a covenant relationship with our God.

In Exodus chapter 20, we see the covenant or treaty the Lord is making with us – the children of Israel/Abraham (and anyone who would like to be called God’s people). He identifies himself to let us know who He is, what He has done for us, so that we might remember who we are– His subjects and Vassal Kings, “wearing” Three Crowns. When he declared, “you will be a holy nation,” he was declaring our potential within a covenant relationship with him. The following verses show a specific pattern that historically was called a *Suzerainty Treaty identifying a covenant/contractual relationship between two parties. Within these treaties, there were several elements including a Preamble, Prologue, Stipulations, and Blessings & Cursing's.
In verse one and two we see the Preamble identifying the Suzerain by his name and title.
“And God spake all these words, saying, “I am the Lord thy God...”
In verse two to three the Prologue is given which gives a historical survey of the Suzerain’s dealing with the Vassal; who he was and the context in which they were associated.
“…which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.”
In verse three through twelve and beyond the Stipulations began to be presented written out in principle and detail which the Sovereign required the Vassal to keep.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
“Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them…”
In verse five and six, we see the Blessings and/or Curses described and listed out the positive or negative consequences which would be received by the Vassal.

“...for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
“And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

*This Suzerainty Treaty historically was a binding contractual agreement between states or people of unequal ranks such as that between a Sovereign, and their subjects. The Suzerain was the Sovereign King or State of the land, the one who held the Highest authority, and his subjects were called Vassals. A Vassal is a person or country who is in a subordinate position to another or a holder of land on conditions of allegiance and are called Vassal Kings.

These Treaties were the pattern of the Ancient Near East people for the purpose of keeping peace. Prior to the time of Moses, the Hittites followed this structure. Afterwards, we see the Israelites as the subjects of the Hittites, Egyptians and Assyrians around 1000 B.C. The Arab Nations around that time followed the same treaty in which there was one who was the Sovereign and others who the sovereign ruled over. It wasn’t an Empirical or Tyrannical form of government, but more mutually inclusive as, “I am the owner of this land and I as owner of the land will allow you as king to be steward over some of the land.” We see this concept in the Record of Nephi, in the book of Alma, when Lamoni, who was the King over his land, traveled with Ammon to help free Aaron yet missed an important meeting with His father, who was High King over all the land. More recently, we see an example of these treaties in India in 1947 when the Indian Prime Minister gave India Suzerainty over the Sikkim people in exchange for preserving their independence. Eventually the monarchy of the Sikkimese was abolished and they merged into India. The Louisiana Purchase from France followed this same treaty language and then with re-settled Indigenous people, a treaty was drawn up though replaced by a statue after its Civil War. A more modern example is the case of the United States of America, with the People established as the Sovereign and the Federal and State governments as the Vassals.

These treaties essentially were agreements drawn up to help each party honor the other’s boundaries for trade-relation purposes. If the relationship was familial, the terms used were, “father” and “son,” and if less personal the terms “lord” and “servant”, or “king” and “vassal” were used.

Each party kept a copy of the treaty and there were often many different rites or ceremonies used to ratify the contract. One of the most widely used rites was that of the cutting of the bodies of animals in half and placing them in two rows with enough space between for the two parties to walk side by side. As they walked between the animal pieces, they would pledge to each other, “May what happened to these animals happen to me if I break this covenant with you.”

The Bible is clearly showing that God establishes this treaty with His children, with him as the High King and his children (subjects) being called Vassal Kings/Queens down through the ages. We see this pattern over and over in the holy scriptures that when God invites us to “honor our father and mother, that long may be our days upon the land”, he is inviting us to keep this life and death treaty where we inherit the land or either be cut off, as well as enter into a covenant to inherit the potential to enter into his Divine Presence.

When will God’s children finally honor the King of the land? What will it take for us to reach out and receive all our High King and Queen have to offer us? When will we recognize, in these end-of-times culmination of all history, this is the ultimate covenant to restore our lands and to receive His Divine Presence within our communities? Just as Prince Caspian needed all the High Kings and Queens offered him to restore his potential, in a familial friendship and loving way, we too can enter into God’s loving presence by receiving the “Crown of the Law” given to us by the Ancient Prophets. This covenant is the beginning of entering into our potential within His Kingdom, allowing us to receive further help and individual opportunities to act on behalf of blessing all his children on the Earth in receiving the “Crown of the Priesthood.” As we do this, we will also have the opportunity to individually become His Vassal Kings and Queens, receiving the “Crown of the Kingdom”.

“But the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity. “ Psalms 37:11

“And you will again obey [to hear - שָׁמַע Shema] the voice of the LORD and follow all His commandments [terms - צָוָה to lay charge] I am giving you today.  So the LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land. Indeed, the LORD will again delight in your goodness, as He delighted in that of your fathers, if you obey the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to Him with all your heart and with all your soul.…”  Deuteronomy 30:8-10

“Inasmuch as ye will keep my commandments ye shall prosper in the land.”  Jarom 1:9

“Behold, do ye not remember the words which he spake unto Lehi, saying that: Inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper in the land? And again it is said that: Inasmuch as ye will not keep my commandments ye shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord.” Alma 9:13

“Blessed art thou and thy children; and they shall be blessed, inasmuch as they shall keep my commandments they shall prosper in the land. But remember, inasmuch as they will not keep my commandments they shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord.”  Alma 50:2

10 Reasons why the Hebraic Principles of Creation Should Be A Part of Your Learning & Study

I have been thinking about this list for a couple years, and wondering which principles would be the top ten to share.  I could include dozens of reasons why the Hebraic Principles of Creation should be a part of everyone's study, but I think I have narrowed it down to identify these essentials:

Principle 1: It is the Language of Freedom

Because this language is the Language of Freedom, it models for us how to learn and to teach utilizing the essential Agency-based Hebrew ways. A friend has asked me if I could just “fire-hose the information to him”. I laughed and said, “Absolutely not!” It is not that I don’t want to. I may like to be able to have the gift of distilling knowledge to a person…(not really actually), but the very nature of this language teaches us that the learner’s agency is number one important!  There is a process of learning it and a process for which it should be taught. It is just how learning this symbolic language works.   It takes a humble seeker who is patient and willing to learn layer by layer. For those who believe they are learning this language, but the guides and teachers are not honoring this way, maybe rethink the sources.

Principle 2: It is the Language of Creation

This language is the oldest recorded on the earth that gets the “closest” to the Creation. There is not much written about this and it has remained a mystery to those who haven’t been taught from On High, but there is an awesome scripture about this in the record of the native people of America. It reads:

For behold, by the power of his word man came upon the face of the earth, which earth was created by the power of his word. Wherefore, if God being able to speak and the world was, and to speak and man was created, O then, why not able to command the earth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure? - Jacob 4:9

This language helps one understand the deeper order of things.  From that wisdom and understanding, it helps one create that order in learning.  This order is needed in our day to restore order to our institutions of governances like families and our places of learning.   Who wouldn’t want to raise children and grandchildren who have the wisdom and understanding of this order in Creation to become Creators and Innovators who can create a world of order, law and peace which can inherit Zion?

Principle 3: It is Governed by the Language of the Spirit

Yes, this language involves all three! We could even identify these three metaphorically as the Father of protecting freedom, the Mother who helps the creative learning process flow, and the Holy Spirit who really does the true teaching.  This is just a poetic way to illustrate there is a masculine and feminine nature of the first two languages.  As I wrote this and evaluated the connection, I feel it really is a great example. All three of these these “languages” really do work together beautifully. Once we have submitted ourselves to the process to learn this language, (That is another great reason ~ it takes practice in submission to The Process) that submission opens our hearts and allows the Spirit to do the teaching.  Those who are Facilitating or Mentoring, are just showing you where to look so He can teach what you personally need at that present moment.

Principle 4: It Promotes Learning in the Right-Side of the Brain

Most of the learning available in our institutions are lacking in whole-brained learning. We ourselves may not have experience learning in this way, so how do we expect to raise Artists, Innovators and Creators for the next “Founding” period in America. We need these Souls raised in a whole brain learning environment way, and why not learn the Hebraic Principles of Creation which helps flourish the Right-side of the brain and promotes learning on both sides!

Principle 5: It Teaches the Law & the Prophets

Through this process of coming to learn the Hebraic Principles of Creation in the Foundation Builder Guide’s mentoring study, a learner examines the Bible in a new way. Through our study in these books, The Law: the first 5 Books of Moses, and The Prophets: the Teachings of the Prophets in the first of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, present themselves in a way which helps us gain a scaffolding view and helps us understand further what Jesus may have meant when He said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” - Matthew 5:17

Principle 6: It Provides Original Source Meanings into the Language of Symbolism & Builds Foundation on Christ & His Creation

Who wouldn’t want to know the original source meanings of symbolism and gain a greater foundation on Christ & His Creation? Symbols with meanings are behind much of our language and communication. Everything we do can be a symbol and finding meaning to symbols is most often personally discovered. There are however the most original symbols recorded on the Earth passed down from the Ancients and who wouldn’t want that learning a part of their education? Not only is this a benefit, but instead of worshipping the Creation, as Paul teaches in Roman 1:25 ~ “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”, this language centers all worship in order in Christ and
supports you to see every subject in His Creation connecting to Him.

Principle 7: It Restores Understanding into Our Original Culture & Story

Layer by layer, month by month, the study of the Hebraic Principles of Creation studied through the Foundation Builder Guide’s mentoring, opens a view of what our Original Culture & Story IS.  It is easy to think this culture is vaguely unknown unless you are a prophet or something, however, this is plainly seen when combining the Liberal Arts quality study done with Women, Mothers, & Families who are, with God’s help and will, preparing to assist in restoring this Original Culture & Story.

Principle 8: It Illuminates Historical Context of the Scriptures From the Authors Hebraic Understanding

Tree of Life HOPE by Marcia Baldwin
This is a huge benefit! This study of the Principles of Creation will illuminate each and every verse and give you the meaning and historical context behind the author’s words.  Not only will you gain a deep understanding of the scriptures, but you will also see the patterns and learn to read between the lines into the message and intentions, and come to understand how to see different interpretations imbedded from the Hebraic language itself.  This experience helps us feel deeply connected to these Ancient scribes and prophets and helps us stand confidently in being preachers of peace in a day of turmoil.  The Foundation Builder Guide mentors an entirely new Four-Level Hebraic Pattern to learn these "between the lines" messages.

Principle 9: It Verifies Doctrine & Principles of The Gospel of Jesus Christ

Because the Secular Humanists are alive and well and have infiltrated most institutions our parents have held dear, we need additional education and tools to help us navigate this world. Yes, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it’s Core Books helps us in this, but what if we have a hard time determining what is doctrine and what is not?  What if it’s too late and we have built a faulty foundation or fallen for “worldly wiseman?”  We wouldn’t know unless we have hindsight vision!  However, we can pray to know the resources and mentoring which will assist us in our personal journey.  The Principles of Creation taught through this unique mentoring, and reserved for such a time as this, only helps us verify doctrine of Christ to truths in the Ancient scripture as well restored so that we might see through the many differing worldview philosophies.

Principle 10: It Empowers Us and Our Young Adults to Stand in Leadership

For those who have had the blessing to learn this language in layers as they have grown and are ready, learning in secular humanistic institutions will hold not weight, power and glory, but feel wanting.  Studying these Principles of Creation with the Foundation Builder Guide gives us practice in seeing the gaps of order in our society and which principles are needed to bring that order. This empowers us to stand in that truth with more effective foundation and language to communicate and fill those gaps.

A Bonus Principle For Those Who Attend Melchizedek Priesthood Temples: Prepares Young Adults for Restored Melchizedek Priesthood Temple Ordinances

For those who have had the blessing to learn this language in layers in the Hebrew Way as they have grown, preparing to participate in Priestly ordinances or Temple worship will not be a shock but a Feast!!  Just the other day, I heard from a previous student who was in the pilot classes.  She taught her children, in the Hebrew way I modeled in our live classes, all the Hebraic Principles of Creation throughout the time of our live study discussions and beyond, and just recently she took her daughter to the Temple for the first time. Her daughter was amazed at all the symbols and so excited to talk about the meanings she saw there!

We are doing something powerful with God through this study. He knows its preparation and its delivery and if you feel drawn to add these valuable principles of wisdom, knowledge and understanding to your life, consider joining us in Foundation Builder Guide’s Intro Principles of Creation Class.  There are roughly 2 hours of video recordings/day for 4-5 days spread out in little bites, and also transcripts, pdfs to print and use, daily nurturing suggestions and writing questions, recipes, etc. to support your experience!  Completing that material will give you a great glimpse of learning from these Hebraic Principles of Creation.  This symbolic language has to be experienced and is not easily told about.  That’s another thing I love about these principles!

You can also add your email here to receive a written version of this class incorporated into
Part 1 of our NEW book:  The Hebrew Model: Restoring Our Original Culture & Story.  And, if you'd like, come discuss this introductory Hebraic pattern shown there, with us further.

      By Precept & Example

By Precept & Example by Katie Hansen

      Show love of God
      In all our ways
      Be blessed by Him
      In all our days.

      How shall we show?
      By precept we say.
      How shall we guide?
      By example each day.

      What are pre - cepts
      That we can say,
      To show and guide,
      And open a way?

      They are God’s Laws,
      Principles and Ways,
      That lead His people
      To better days.

      What example we show,
      When we go and pray,
      And sit, walk,
      And talk and lay?

      That we love our God
      In all His ways,
      And are blessed by Him
      In all our days.

      So be true, be true,
      Stand fast today.
      Bind for a sign,
      His blessings pray.

Three Essential "Words" The Elect Use to Avoid Deception

This past year in my religious community there has been a unique phrase shared inviting us to increase our ability to hear the voice of the Lord more clearly. In the April 2020 Worldwide Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Russell M. Nelson exhorted all followers of God to seek out greater direction for our lives from the Lord Jesus Christ as he invited us to “Hear Him.” In his first address to this same congregation in 2018, he prophetically declared,

In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.”

      He then pleaded,
“I urge you to stretch beyond your current spiritual ability to receive personal revelation, for the Lord has promised that “if thou shalt [seek], thou shalt receive revelation upon revelation, knowledge upon knowledge, that thou mayest know the mysteries and peaceable things—that which bringeth joy, that which bringeth life eternal.”
      “Hear Him.”

These words, spoken two millennia ago from the heavens, were once again heard in our day by a 14 year-old boy who knelt to pray in a grove of trees in upstate New York in the year 1820.

Young Joseph Smith had for some time been observing the war of words and opinions, as the preachers and pastors of various denominations in the surrounding New England religious communities argued over Biblical doctrine. Many differing viewpoints and interpretations of the Bible often caused great contention. He noticed with concern that his parents were not fully united as to which denomination was most correct according to their knowledge of the Bible. Joseph himself began wondering and asking which of all the churches was most correct and which he should join. As he was seeking for answers, he found direction through this serious wondering way as he read in the New Testament, in the Book of James, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.” This scripture came with great power into his heart and he determined to do this. He later recorded his remarkable Vision of the appearance of God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ to him. His account reads: “One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other-This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!”

Since the onslaught of the worldwide pandemic of 2020 began, it has become clear that, much like the time of Joseph Smith, we also, in our day, find ourselves in the midst of a war of words and tumults of opinions. Contrary voices continue to barrage us daily from all directions.  Images are passed like food platters around the family table, all intended to persuade, dispute, divide, and even suppress. Shocking seen and unseen censorship has come in the form of fact-checkers and recent articles in support of this censorship.  To rephrase Joseph Smith’s words in a way that describes our similar situation,

"In the midst of this war of words and tumult of opinions," of virus and death numbers, media images, uncertainties in the economy, business losses, Dr.'s whose experiences with the people and medicines contradict the gov't authority... [italics represent parts added]

"I often say to myself: What is to be done? Who of all these parties are right; or, are they all wrong together? If any one of them be right, which is it, and how shall I know it?" ~ Joseph Smith Jr. (read the full account here)
Today, if any person needed wisdom from God, as the Book of James says, it is truly us!

I have recently seen an increase in confusion as World Leaders pose for photo ops showing their personal decisions to support suggestions from governments to take part in popular pharmaceutical experiments that claim to solve the immediate fears of death all in the name of protecting health.

Who of all these persuading parties are right and how shall we know it? How are we to know what we are to do? Should we look to these great leaders and what they do in their personal lives and just follow along? Or, should we do as President Nelson, when speaking under the direction of the Spirit of the Lord in that role, stewardship and position he holds as a Prophet of the Lord, said to do? ~ To “seek our own direction from the Lord and “Hear Him””?

Whether it is today’s troubling current events, overcoming widespread generational iniquity, or any difficult earthly challenge we may face, I suggest using three guiding principles, or “Words”, to understand how to direct our choices with wisdom, and receive verification that we are truly “Hearing Him.”  Matthew 24:24 states “if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”  I know it is not possible for the Elect to be deceived because they are wise enough to use these three “Words” as Gate Keepers, Guide Posts and Light Houses.  They help us discern false worldviews, see through subtle and crafty deceptions, and illuminate our way through spiritual mists of darkness.

      The 1st Word:

The Word to Ancient Prophets recorded in Scripture.
The direction and instructions written and recorded in ancient scriptures which are time tested and have endured through the ages are the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ to the hearer and recorder of those records. The answers to today’s challenges are found there. Read, search, ponder, pray about them. Consider our current challenges, and look for the principles taught within these ancient records. Read again. Repeat.

      The 2nd Word:

The Word to Modern Prophets as Mouthpieces of the Lord.

Today, many are fortunate to understand the Lord does give today's news, today, to authorized servants that proclaim His Official Doctrine and direction of the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. When directed through the Holy Spirit, these men speak, write, and record direction consistent with scripture for these last days. If you do not know this yourself, use the other two “Words” to guide you.

      The 3rd Word:

The Word to our Heart & Mind from the Holy Spirit.
The Lord himself and His Holy Spirit will guide us as you seek for their direction. Each of us were born with the Light of Christ (same as conscience or chi) to guide us through discerning goods and bads, rights and wrongs, the comfortable and uncomfortable. If that voice is not as strong as we’d like, we can remove distraction around us and become more sensitive and aware. We must nurture this light and educate our conscience for it to grow. This is the same as “Hearing Him!” We must practice day by day, following inspired and good thoughts and ideas which come into our minds and hearts.  For all good comes from Christ!  Recording these thoughts, ideas and experiences will help our mind remember them, become more aware of them, and increase our capacity to receive more.

As we hear and receive instruction and direction, including the good, better or best, or even that which may be contradictory and cause confusion, we can hear this “Word” from the Spirit of the Lord helping us test, verify, confirm these goods or bads. By comparing what we hear and receive with all THREE of these “Words”, we can look for the truth confirmed by 2-3 witnesses of “The Word.”

The Elect, who are wise and have taken “The Word” to be their guide, always verify the truth by using all three “Words” in order to avoid deception.

Our "Aspects of the Hebrew Way" Celebration this Spring!

      We are Celebrating!
      What are we Celebrating?
We are Celebrating Our Universal Story. As civilizations rise and fall, the remnants of the cultures they leave behind are in the form of stories & art. The power of story is real. Stories preserve community and family culture. They can also renew an individual's connection with their Creator and their identity in this world. Stories are what keep us connected in our churches, families & communities. No matter where we come from, we all share our Universal story of Creation & the Creator.

The Pilgrim's Course Tutorial (Online Retreat) class sharing an introduction to the Hebraic Principles of Creation, is all about this Universal Story and finding it's origin in the Old Testament!  As we come to see that circle-pattern in the scriptures, we come to see ourselves in this story like we never have before.  As we come to see that circle-pattern in the scriptures, we come to see our connection to each other and our need for gathering and celebrating!

We are meeting on Shavuot 2021 to Celebrate in The Hebrew Way!   That includes the holistic nurturing of singing, dancing, whole foods, wholesome study and discussion, playful projects, Celebration of God's Word and His leading us in our "Universal story", and our like-minded connection!

We also desire to continue our Original culture with every effort and resist any efforts to "cancel culture".  We must know why it is so important for us to be doing these simple yet essential things, like singing!   We are Celebrating through Song to help encourage and transfer our story!  Music and singing is a powerful gift from God to carry our story on through the ages.

      We are Celebrating Song.

Did you know that a culture of singing is what freed the entire nation of Estonia? After Stalin took over the Baltic States in 1939/1940, the people lost their freedom to celebrate their cultural singing festivals. After 50 years, they began overcoming their fears and gathering to sing their cultural songs. This gave them more and more courage to stand against their oppressors and grew to a point where they stood, hand-in-hand, in 1991, against the tanks, singing. The world saw this on the news and it was the first time we in the West understood what had been happening those 50 years after WWII. Singing is powerful!!  Through a simple song, we can learn a powerful message.    For this Celebration, we have prepared an original Beatitude song.  Shelley Schneider and Emily Erickson have been working to compose it and I am so excited to sing it with all joining us!

      We are Celebrating Joyful Movement.

Did you ever notice that each culture around the world includes dance as a part of their festivals? Have you ever wondered why? Did you know movement is a strong need of the body and even helps us release negative emotions to Christ? Think about it. Running is great to do when we have to let-off steam. Walking may help us think. Yoga and breathing helps us to calm the chatter in our minds. There are many studies and research showing the benefits of movement. Now, did you also know the Jewish culture enjoys a dance at their wedding feasts? This tradition goes back anciently, and I believe has something to do with the word feast, which means, to gather in a circle and dance.

I invite you to gather in a circle and dance with us!   This
joyful movement, called Contra (circle) dancing, is a form of a Hebraic circle-dance which we've inherited from our Ephraimite culture.

      We are Celebrating Our Connection.

As women, we believe we were made for relieving the poor, mournful, hungry & thirsty, persecuted... in society.  Our Vision of Celebrations comes from Original families who gathered each year to Celebrate by telling our Universal story of Creation and how Adam & Eve came to be.  Over the years this tradition can be seen as families gathered in large-scale Celebrations working and learning together.  In each they are telling their community stories and the most powerful story:  Their Creation Stories.   This includes their dances and singing and the words that give them strength and power.  They utilize beautiful colors, material like fabrics, paper and paints and they also use the tools of the technology they had.    We believe it is time to restore this way of lifting the wounded, poor and hungry among us.  As we join together with this vision in mind, we can unify our purpose and connection as women!

Come join us in this Celebration!

      Becoming in The Hebrew Way

I'm really excited to share with you what's going on in Foundation Builder Guide!

We have been working on completing some major parts of our Symbolic-Learning at Home Resources which guide mothers through the process of learning the Principles of Creation with her children or grandchildren. This is our do-it-yourself program which can stand alone, or accompanies our Level 1 Principles of Creation Study mentoring program.

The significant process I have gone through in building these resources illustrates two major things to those of us who are working on becoming special women who encircle together, with our husbands and families, to act as “Protectors” of God’s Laws, His children and His culture.
      1. A VISION of the abundant and inspired talent, resources and tools that God is preparing now to bless our communities in the future.
      2. The PROCESS in which we each might personally allow ourselves to be refined.

To illustrate this, I would like to share with you the story of this process of refinement that HouseoftheBook.org-Foundation Builder Guide has evolved through over the past seven years.

Several years prior to 2013, I had already been on my journey of learning and then teaching Aspects of the Hebrew Way, and was coming to understand more about what I have termed are the Principles of Creation.   I technically began building what I named the Foundation Builder Guide organization in 2013 under the LiberLabs non-profit my husband and a friend had begun, but not officially.  The non-profit began with a vision of a 3-day per week K-12 Leadership Education type school and I was the developer of the curriculum for ages 5-8. The original idea was to create picture books and learning project stations in every subject. My friend envisioned us mentoring teachers in this program. Though she had these plans at first, I wasn’t feeling drawn to teach in an environment like that,
and so her vision dissolved and we didn’t proceed with that plan. I did, however, feel called to mentor my previous Hebraic Principles content with the mothers in my one-day a week New Commonwealth School community in the Junior program setting.

That original non-profit dissolved, but was a vital part of clarifying what my vision for Foundation Builder Guide was by showing me what it was not, and was an huge catalyst
for me to get on the path towards what it was really meant to become all along.  I believe my friend was put there by God to prod me into a new direction. That is what a good mentor does, right? I was doing a lot of prayerful asking at the time, and I know God, through my friend, called me to it. Even though we didn’t end up working together, I am very grateful for her role in my life as it fulfilled prophetic direction I had received previously. It also got my husband involved as my partner in Foundation Builder Guide, which has proved to be a huge blessing for our family.

The first 3 years were spent creating most of the foundational mother & children’s Symbolic-Learning at Home Resources content including stories, songs, dances, exploration & discovery activities, but over the next three years, efforts were put into building the scaffolding of the organization itself, and most importantly it was identified how that first non-profit experience had falsely defined the direction Foundation Builder Guide.

There were several factors that influenced my efforts in the beginning, but which would prove to need refining into what God was teaching me to be more aligned with The Hebrew Way.  The following explanations show how God led me to principles which would bring the program into harmony with that Way.
      1. This inspired program was for the Mother to learn and teach in her home and from her home, not for trained teachers to teach other women’s children in a school-like learning environment. I have come to realize that the Mother’s heart is what we are impressing and inspiring in these Symbolic-learning at Home Resources, and there would be no point to teach this solely to children or grandchildren if the mother/grandmother was not involved. Instead of feeling drawn to train teachers in an environment removed from home, I knew this Foundation Builder Guide was for the Mother who is the house and home. I have seen first hand that this symbolic-language is only appropriately shared through natural and organic environments like storytelling, which provide the delivery method of these Principles of Creation. Although it could be taught by one who was mentored in these symbolic principles, how would that directly help the Mother who is the one who really needs it since her influence on the front lines of her home, family and community are what make all the difference?
      2. The original Hebraic Principles of Creation-based stories we were writing were to be in a storytelling format, with limited illustrations, not full color illustrated picture books. As my friend and I wrote the original stories, I would mentor her on the symbolic principles that each story focused on. I had a very strong impression that instead of these stories becoming children's books with each page illustrated, they needed to be stories where the mother could engage her storytelling skills. This natural method would help illustrate the images to her children’s minds through hearing them, allowing them to more actively engage in the creative visual learning process as well as allow them to illustrate it for themselves if they chose. That’s what is so great about reading aloud!
      3. Use Fairy Tales and other folk tales for additional complementary stories first, not the Aesop's Fables. This epiphany came partially because of my previous efforts in learning and researching the symbolic layers of meaning in the Fairy Tales. When I added this part to my research for the program, I intuitively knew these types of stories were more in line with the Hebraic Principles of Creation and showed the true Hebrew Way with the biblical symbols interwoven throughout, rather than drawing a conclusion for the learner, as Aesop’s Fables do. This simple choice would provide another witness of the refinement which was taking place.
      4. Create the content to be simple magazine-like booklets which could be carried around easily, not as a mentor-training binder. As I wrote the first edition of the Guidebooks in 2014, I was influenced by my training experiences for our Commonwealth School as well as by my friend, in the way she created training materials. I had begun teaching online and had given out a binder of the stories and other materials to the mothers in my classes. After I had received the direction to shift its delivery from a classroom-style training binder to a simpler magazine format, it felt so much better! With the materials in a binder, it had the feel of taking the mother out of the natural home-like environment into the status quo, teacher-training world, externally, that wouldn’t result in her natural internal transformation or in transferring the content into her home very well. The goal was to deliver the content in a simple, organic way that empowers the mother/grandmother as the expert in her own home and to not have her be in any way intimidated by it.
These are just a few examples of how in each step of my journey of building this program for mothers, there were deliberate shifts away from the paradigm I began with, and how that process was revealing changes that invited and facilitated inward movement and accessibility for the Mother.

Looking back now, I realize that during the initial three years of creating it, I was highly influenced externally by that non-profit experience which had initially defined my direction. I had taken those influences on by default and it wasn’t in reality the way in which Foundation Builder Guide was designed to be created. The way was in me and I needed to learn to trust my intuition and God’s direction. I knew there was an original way of delivering these Principles of Creation that was different than anything else currently available. As I learned to validate and honor the vision I’d been given, through witness after witness, and many miracles experienced, I gained the gift of confidence in my Savior that He was leading me along. Over time, He not only gave me the “what” of an entire program for mothers in the home, but also, specific direction for its deliverance in a uniquely created retreat training in the “how.” I came to trust and depend on that guidance as I continued creating every aspect of this work. It later proved to be teaching me something I couldn’t understand at the time, but now recognize as part of this pattern of becoming in God’s “Hebrew Way.”

After that first three year period, I had the opportunity and blessing to experience some deep valleys in the shadow of death which challenged the very fiber of my being. I was homebound and spent many days in bed, as some generational trauma surfaced. A year later, we moved to a new city, and I came to a point where everything with Foundation Builder Guide seemed to be metaphorically ”tossed in the air”. The way I had tried to go forward with it in the past didn’t seem to be working, and I wanted to know how I should proceed. With all my heart I could see what could help mothers in implementing it and I knew in order to be true to the vision God had given me of the complete program, including the Women’s Retreat training, I needed help from God to show me how. One night in October 2017, I knelt in prayer in submission and asked what God wanted me to do with it. The next morning I received a text from a friend in the program saying, “I just had a dream that I needed to help you.” That witness ignited within me a new sense of purpose very much needed in order to continue the process of creating the space for the full support organization to form, re-evaluating all the different parts of content and creating new ways of sharing these Principles of Creation. Foundation Builder Guide has experienced a rebirth, out of which has come beautiful, printed materials, and delivery methods that have evolved into a complete mentoring system for the mother in the home, all in the Hebrew Way.

The following principles show the changes which have come out of that new inspiration which continue to reveal this process of Becoming in The Hebrew Way:

      1. Invite learning from both sides of the brain through drawing, illustrating and creating, in addition to storytelling. My youngest son is my only child with whom phonics hasn’t worked to help him to read. He read the words from right to left instead of left to right, and he couldn’t blend words, so I began there, telling him that reading the letters from right to left was the “Hebrew Way,” and showing him that reading the letters left to right was the “English way.” It taught me a lot about how he was so wonderfully living his reality in his right-side of the brain. That is natural for our younger than age 9 children! God protects these children through these foundational stages. I didn’t want to disturb that, so I created the English & Ancient Hebrew Alphabet Drawing Guide as a way to create a natural bridge to help the information cross from the right side of his brain over the midline to the left side, which enabled him to utilize both sides. As he and I together, drew the English and Ancient Hebrew alphabet letters in a large notebook, I told him the stories of the House of Israel which I have associated with each and every Ancient Hebrew letter as well as others I found that correspond with our English Alphabet letters. I learned that drawing and storytelling in this way was an even better and more natural way of delivering these Hebraic Principles of Creation, as opposed to just telling a story.

      2. Show the whole of the Biblical House of Israel story through the Early Semitic Pictographic Alphabet book, not just one part at a time as I had been offering in the program. Writing “the stories” of the House of Israel, was one of my earliest promptings that led to building Foundation Builder Guide in the first place.  I wanted to shout from the rooftops this grand sweeping saga of the House of Israel! Since that time, I have been engaged in sharing this wonderful story as I teach of those stories each month, and have even written fictional children’s stories illuminating many aspects of that Biblical House of Israel story. It was a new idea for me when I felt inspired in 2019 to publish an alphabet book which included a House of Israel story in connection with each of those symbolic pictographs in one simple book. I was then guided and directed to offer the Drawing Guide which includes even more research on those House of Israel stories. Not only would this help many learn more about this alphabet, and introduce what Foundation Builder Guide is doing for the world, but it would assist mothers in capturing a greater vision of the whole, before she engages in the parts. It would help her see a more full picture and gain a familiarity with this ancient saga through powerful symbols & simple stories.

      3. Share the foundational "Sun at Horizon" Principle of Creation with the women first, to build foundation. Since I began writing on my blog about this circle-pattern in the scriptures in 2010, I always held the vision of the primary role this “Sun at Horizon” plays in all our lives and its role in The Hebrew Way; of how it shows us the possibility of the process of ascension. It is one of the most exciting things I love to share about! I couldn’t quite figure out how to emphasize it to the women until the same month in October 2017, I was shown how I could share The Pilgrims Course principle in a stand alone online class. What I soon saw was this was one of the major foundation stones which was lacking from what I had previously taught in those early pilot classes of 2013-2018. Now, in Foundation Builder Guide’s Intro Principles of Creation Class, before I even teach about the Principles of Creation, I introduce women and mothers to this ancient symbol as well as offer ways to support our whole body, mind, heart and spirit through our journey using a Daily Nurturing Guide.

      4. Enhance the Children’s Hebraic symbol journal page to include all the elements offered and let the Symbolic language be the Guide. The last thing we have refined in the Symbolic-Learning at Home Resources is to combine the single journal pages into twenty-two separate, 10-page My Principles of Creation Journals. These journals, which can be printed off using the pdf link, are placed in each Principle of Creation Module to help mothers guide their children through the materials available. They include a coloring page, places to record the devotional verses or other discovery experiences, the original children’s story and the Biblical House of Israel story. It's a beautiful tool that offers an invitation to explore and discover more. It doesn't tell the mother what to do, or instruct using a lesson plan, but simply empowers the mother by acting as a guide as she uses the online Symbolic-Learning at Home Resources.

These new improvements made the delivery of these resources into the way it was meant to be. It is almost like my earlier experience which had influenced me had to be wiped off and reset. The slate had to be cleaned. I had to learn not to look to that previous experience as a guide for these resources, but to look to God, having no idea what He was directing me to do with this material, but allow Him to show me in small ways, step by step. Each experience confirmed that I already had the content within me, and just needed to adjust this or that in order to share it in a new way, the way it was meant to be shared.

Now, if I went through this guided step-by-step process in the refinement of Foundation Builder Guide’s Symbolic-learning at Home Resources, seeing God create this through me and learning that it has been my commission to teach the Principles of Creation, could others be going through the same process with entirely different, but unique prepared purposes? This has given me the vision that God is guiding others in the same way he guided me, and this is how the refinement of our culture will happen in order for us to create the kind of Zion society we desire - the kind of communities we are going to create after this crisis we are going through. It is very exciting!

The refinement process I went through in building Foundation Builder Guide, reveals the same pattern we all can travel. It is taught in the Foundation Builder Guide’s Intro Principles of Creation Class, The Pilgrim’s Course Tutorial, on Day 3 & 4 recording. This pattern and process guides us to shift and alter our ways of living and being, and our delivery methods of teaching our children, from an externally dependent, one-size-fits-all, coercive, masculine way, to an internal, feminine, guiding, leading, mentoring, and nurturing, self-reliant, truly-trusting-in-our-Creator, Way. It shows the need to weed out and reset all those ways in us that enable the perpetuation of what we have inherited from the Western, Occidental or Greek model way. The original Hebraic way, is an Oriental model. It follows our internal and intuitive guidance system, is holistic, involving the whole self, with physical-intellectual-social-emotional-spiritual parts, being equally engaged, thus bringing balance. It is unseen, and informal and necessitates an entire trusting in God and the unknown.

This process of transformation illustrates how we each are invited to shift, change and become the more intuitive, internal, feminine, gently nurturing, guiding, leading women and mothers we were meant to be, and building that tribal family community that we desire. This banding together of women, acting as a protective shield, protecting God's laws, his children, and his community in His ways, is essential.

Seeing this process and pattern for what it truly is and does, gives me a vision of what God is creating in us for ourselves, our future and our communities.

It gives us a model to follow, and a visual picture of the refinement that is needed within each of us; the shift from an externally dependent way, to an internally unseen, unknown, trusting in God, self-reliant way.

It's beautiful. And it gives us hope for the future.

      To learn more:

Last exciting thing: we are in the process of editing all twenty-two original children’s stories. These will be combined in a Storybook with the sheet music of original songs and dance steps. Through that storybook, delivered in the Hebrew Way, we can share these important principles from the mother's heart and home, into the heart and home of her children.

What the World Needs is More Babies

When God wants to change the world, he sends a baby! Each year we Celebrate this beautiful plan when we remember the life and birth of Jesus Christ into this Earthly World.

The Christ Child | Light the World (comeuntochrist.org)
As God first gave Adam and Eve the ability to procreate and have babies, we see His plan to change the world come into action by giving each of us the ability to continue His “house” or family here. Every single baby, then, has the potential to literally change this world by bringing new divine souls into it.

In more recent births, from the year 1254, with the birth of Marco Polo, to the year 1637 of Father Jacques Marquette, God sent over 20 babies to Italy, France, Spain, England, and Portugal, to accomplish the discovery of the New World. Yes, those babies followed their hearts inclinations and families' traditions as they turned to the sea to expand Westward across the great Atlantic ocean.

Although, sadly, harm came to the inhabitants of the Americas because of it, the good they did for the world in setting into action events of the Gentile people moving into that land, was World changing. God knew what He was doing for He is the one who sent those Explorers. From the birth of John Smith in 1580, or Elizabeth Tilley in 1607, these Fathers and Mothers birthed men and women who established the freest nation and government the world has ever known. And, it was all because of the birth of a whole new age of babies like the Heroic Madelon in 1678, James Otis and Crispus Attucks in 1725, and George Washington in 1732.
And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood. (recorded as instruction from the Lord given to Joseph Smith in the Doctrine and Covenants chapter 101 verse 80)
Frank William Boreham, born in 1871 in England, noticed this Divine Pattern as well. He stated:

“In 1809 men were following, with bated breath, the march of Napoleon, and waiting with feverish impatience for latest news of the wars. And all the while in their own homes, babies were being born. But who could think about babies? Everyone was thinking about battles… In one year between Trafalgar and Waterloo there stole into the world a host of heroes: Gladstone was born in Liverpool… Oliver Wendell Homes in Massachusetts, and Abraham Lincoln in Kentucky.

“But nobody thought of babies, everyone was thinking of battles. Yet, which of the battles of 1809 mattered more than the babies of 1809? We fancy God can manage His world only by the great battalions, when all the while He is doing it with beautiful babies.

“When a wrong wants righting, or a truth wants preaching, or a continent wants discovering, God sends a baby into the world to do it.”
What might your reason be for coming to this Earthly World? How might that be contributing to the continuation of God’s House and Family?

      F. W. Boreham knew it was babies who really changed the World; babies sent from God. From Adam to Abraham, from David to The Christ, these special babies had a mission to continue God’s family of believers and be a witness for thousands of years of His-Story of continuation and redemption of the World. As he wrote on The Quality of Mercy, in The Heavenly Octave, p. 87, he said,

"As a result of fifty generations of Christianity, something of the spirit of Jesus has become ingrained in the very blood of the race, and it would take a thousand years of atheism to get it out again."

If I could have any influence in this world, it would be to keep atheism and secular humanism from taking root in my lineage and to have it be etched away and daily battled against in the communities in which I reside. My heart's desire on how that can be accomplished, is summed up in a Hebrew parable written after the pattern of generations of families who carried on traditions of righteousness. We can read the story from which I feel the words of this parable was inspired, in the 18th chapter of Genesis when Abraham prayed for righteous people who lived in the city of Sodom and Gomorrah to not be destroyed just yet:
If there are 20 right-doing men in the world, my son and I will be among them.
If there are 10 right-doing men in the world, my son and I will be among them.
If there are 5 right-doing men in the world, my son and I will be among them.
If there are 2 right-doing men in the world, they will be my son and I.
If there is one right-doing man in the world, I will be that man.

Like this ancient parable, I can be that woman who carries on the right-use of truth by showing and nurturing my children in the way they can go and in mentoring them in following their heart's desires. I can trust God has planted in those hearts that Divine seed of potential which He sent them here to blossom forth to this world.

Christ and His Mother Studying the Scriptures, ca. 1909.
Oil on canvas, 48.8 × 40 in. Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas.

How might this Spirit of Jesus continue to be ingrained in your generational line? What can you do to continue God’s story here in this sinful world? Will you be among those right-doing women and men?

And, who will be with you if not your own babies?

      Climb out of the MainStream

Are you in the mainstream? Do you know where it is heading? Could it be going off a cliff?

It occurred to me the other day that if we are floating along downstream in the main stream of water, we are technically heading downward. Downward to where? Is the “stream” we are floating in heading off the highlands and over a waterfall, or, could it be heading down and out to the vast chaos of the sea?

What if our source of drinking water comes from the mainstream after it has traveled over a length of miles over fields of cow pastures, pesticide-disrupted farmland and artificial hormone-filled human waste plants? Is the water really pure enough to drink or soak in?

If we could all clearly see the effects of hanging out in the mainstream or drinking the water from downstream, we may choose to not want to be in it or to drink from that source. However, the effort it takes to turn around and head upstream to find safer sources of water, just makes the journey seem too hard. The truth is, the way up stream is harder. It takes a lot more effort and may not seem worth it at first.

However, wouldn’t we much rather be nourished from the spring of fresh water up the mountain, instead of staying acclimated in the downstream? Wouldn’t we want to get our source from the pure spring of truth?

Reality tells us it’s time to make the effort to climb out of the mainstream. This well-traveled course is heading off a cliff and the “drinking water” there is no longer safe for human consumption. As I think more on it, is it even prudent or safe to sit and hang out in it at all? If what is coming down the mainstream is corrupted or poisonous, drinking or being immersed in it would not only be unsafe physically, but also mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

A great leader and a modern Apostle of the Lord, Jeffrey R. Holland said this:

“We are witnessing an ever greater movement toward polarity. The middle-ground options will be removed from us as Latter-day Saints (or any Saints and Christians). The middle of the road will be withdrawn.

“If you are treading water in the current of a river, you will go somewhere. You simply will go wherever the current takes you. Going with the stream, following the tide, drifting in the current will not do.

“Choices have to be made. Not making a choice is a choice. Learn to choose now.”
From the source of the Spring, comes forth a depth of principles and laws given by our Creator. The Hebrews call it the Language of Creation (symbolism, poetry, art, etc.) This bold statement attributed to Martin Luther gives us a glimpse into the value of drinking from the source of the Spring.

Drinking from the mainstream is almost worse than drinking or learning from the Latin/Roman’s puddle, because since that time, we’ve had 2000 years of Westward expansion (from the Roman Empire to the United States today). Could there be anything of substance left in the puddle? Many things could have been changed, perverted or corrupted in between all those years.

      It is time.

Let’s head to the hills and search for the water springing out from the mountain-top source. It is pure and oh, so refreshing! “Drinking” from the most original sources is where to find truth as well as associate with others who drink from that source.

Note: I awoke with these thoughts this week and drew this picture of people drinking from the mainstream. I am planning on drawing it on my whiteboard, which we use in our family room, to place on display, and then, to let my children ask me about what this is so we can discuss it together.
